About the Role

The Metal Fabricator II plays a critical role in the manufacturing and construction process by transforming raw metal materials into precise components and structures according to detailed specifications. This position requires a high level of technical skill to interpret blueprints, measure materials accurately, and operate various metalworking machinery safely and efficiently. The Metal Fabricator II is responsible for ensuring that all fabricated parts meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations, contributing directly to the overall success of production projects.

Collaboration with engineers, welders, and other team members is essential to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and optimize workflow. Ultimately, this role supports the creation of durable, high-quality metal products that meet client and industry requirements across diverse applications in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience operating metal fabrication tools and machinery safely.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in welding or metal fabrication (e.g., AWS certification).
  • Experience with CNC machinery and programming.
  • Familiarity with various metal types and their properties.
  • Ability to perform basic welding and assembly tasks.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as shears, brakes, and welding equipment.
  • Perform quality inspections on fabricated parts to ensure compliance with dimensional and structural standards.
  • Maintain and operate fabrication equipment safely, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute fabrication projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and deadlines.
