The Marketing Project Manager is a newly created, high-visibility role reporting directly to the Marketing Director. This position is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional who enjoys owning projects from initial concept through final delivery. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors, suppliers, and customers to ensure marketing initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and at a consistently high standard of quality.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for design and branding, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into clear, executable project plans. This role blends hands-on project management with creative production, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both structure and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple concurrent marketing projects from initiation and scoping through execution, launch, and post-project review.
- Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, schedules, milestones, and deliverables to keep all stakeholders aligned.
- Lead day-to-day communication and coordination with sales teams, installers, suppliers, and clients to ensure clear expectations and timely deliverables.
- Conduct site visits as needed to assess progress, quality, and adherence to project requirements and brand standards.
- Identify risks, anticipate roadblocks, troubleshoot issues, and recommend practical solutions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare, update, and organize project documentation, including briefs, timelines, status reports, and post-project summaries.
- Design and produce marketing assets such as brochures, email campaigns, website content, print collateral, and social media materials.
- Partner with sales and product teams to develop and execute compelling product marketing campaigns that support revenue and growth goals.
- Ensure brand consistency, accuracy, and quality across all channels and customer touchpoints.
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of trade shows, customer events, and promotional activities, including logistics, collateral, and follow-up campaigns.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing, project management, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects, including setting timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering on deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to both creative and non-creative stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Comfort interacting with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including sales, operations, vendors, and customers.
- Problem-solving mindset with a high level of attention to detail and quality.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with the ability to produce polished, on-brand marketing materials.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Familiarity with the flooring, building materials, or home improvement industries.
- Experience using project management tools such as Asana, Trello, , or Microsoft Project.
- Background in product marketing, preferably within B2B or distribution environments.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
- Basic photography and/or video editing skills to support content creation.
