Assistant Nurse Manager OR Pod 1 – Barnes‑Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO

1500 bed Level One Trauma Center, St. Louis, Missouri
Contract:
Permanent – Full‑time
Pay:
Competitive salary + up to $7,500 Sign‑On Bonus (optional) + Shift Differentials
- 4/10 hour shifts: 630 A – 4:30 P
- 3–4 shared calls per year, taken a week at a time by phone
- 30–35 direct reports
- Responsible for staff scheduling, interviewing, coaching/disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and other duties
- 13 OR suites
- Core services: gynecology, urology, colorectal, MIS, bariatrics, robotic surgeries
- OR and leadership experience preferred plus strong communication skills

- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current RN license; BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2–5 years experience
- Supervisor experience not required; preferred
- Proficient computer skills, knowledge of personal computer usage
- 5–10 years experience preferred
- Less than 2 years supervisor experience acceptable
Schedule is 4/10 hour shifts; flexibility for shared calls and overtime as needed.
