Environmental Specialist (Eagan, MN) Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory/Environmental Specialist II to support the International Product Stewardship team. This role focuses on process documentation, operational support, and cross-functional coordination to ensure efficient product stewardship and regulatory compliance activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and experienced in managing documentation within a regulatory, quality, or operational environment.
Additional DetailsContract Length: 12 months with the possibility of extension. Pay range: $25 to $35 per hour on W2 (as per experience).
Responsibilities- Support global Product Stewardship initiatives by improving process standardization and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, RACI matrices, and standardized templates.
- Organize, review, and manage controlled documentation while identifying gaps and ensuring alignment with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Perform structured reviews of business documentation to verify accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data alignment, documentation updates, and process improvements.
- Provide operational support for regional Product Stewardship activities, helping ensure timely approvals and workflow completion.
- Assist in maintaining documentation systems and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Quality, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working with structured documentation, SOPs, work instructions, or document control processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in Product Stewardship, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Environmental Compliance, or Quality Systems.
- Knowledge of document management systems and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Experience supporting regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, chemical manufacturing, or consumer products.
