Kleinman is seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee well-maintained, market-rate apartment communities and play a key role in delivering a positive experience for both residents and prospects. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates effectively, and can manage day-to-day operations while maintaining a high standard of service.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeasing & Resident Experience
- Respond to prospect and resident inquiries, schedule tours, and follow up on leads
- Conduct property tours and assist with rental applications
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs to ensure a seamless experience
- Professionally address resident concerns, service requests, and lease compliance
- Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned properties
- Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor services
- Monitor unit turns, including inspections, cleaning, and readiness for new residents
- Conduct regular property walkthroughs and annual inspections
- Work closely with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely service
- Ensure buildings and grounds are maintained to company standards
- Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and property activity
- Monitor compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations
- Utilize property management software and CRM systems to stay organized
- Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional weekends as needed
- Availability during month-end and turnover periods
- Strong customer service, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- 2+ years of property management, leasing, or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is a plus
- Starting salary of $55,000 – $60,000 during the initial onboarding period (first 3–4 months)
- Upon successful onboarding and assignment of a full portfolio, potential for salary increases based on performance and responsibilities.
