Position Overview

Provides member service by acknowledging members and identifying member needs; providing guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology; assisting members with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving member issues and concerns; and promoting the company's products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Assists management with the supervision of associates by assigning duties, communicating goals, training on processes, providing direction, ensuring policy compliance, supporting the Open Door Policy, and participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.
  • Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors, organizes and maintains the sales floor using equipment, merchandising, and completing required paperwork and logs.
  • Maintains safety of facility according to company policies, conducting safety sweeps, handling forklift spotting, disposing of hazardous materials, following steel standards, and reporting unsafe situations.
  • Ensures maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation by handling claims, returns, zoning, stocking, arranging, and displaying merchandise, signing and pricing, identifying shrink, and securing fragile/high‑shrink items.
  • Monitors food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, product recalls, sanitation standards, and proper stocking, zoning, and cleaning.
  • Leads and participates in teams, sharing resources, determining customer needs, coordinating work assignments, providing feedback, and modeling adaptability to change.
  • Oversees the picking and staging of club pickup orders ensuring products are selected and staged per company policy.
  • Develops and implements processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners, monitoring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Promotes compliance with company policies and ethics by guiding, demonstrating compliance practices, implementing action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and assisting management in correcting ethical issues.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leading a team, Supervising experience including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage range for this position is $24.00 to $32.00
* and will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
