Position Summary

Sam's Club member front‑line associate responsible for maintaining area of responsibility in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning the area, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Provides member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing member receipts, acknowledging members, identifying member needs, and assisting members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise. Serves at self‑checkout area, resolving member issues, promoting Sam's Club products, processing member purchases, assisting with payments, returns and exchanges, and guiding members on self‑service technology.

Safeguards club assets, observes potential criminal activity, maintains logs, executes emergency response procedures, and ensures compliance with security and safety practices. Provides training to new associates on processes, technology, and new program rollouts, and offers continuous learning opportunities. Complies with company policies and ethics, and collaborates with managers and partners to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvement opportunities, and adapt to change and feedback.

Qualifications
  • Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register) and working with mobile retail applications.
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
