As an Operations Support Associate at Polo Ralph Lauren, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations in our retail stores. Your responsibilities include receiving deliveries, processing merchandise per company guidelines, supporting store recovery, and meeting the needs of the sales floor. You will maintain the organization and cleanliness of the stock room, assist sales floor personnel with stock checks and merchandise delivery, and support inventory levels on both the sales floor and the stock room.
This role requires adaptability to the changing needs of the business; some responsibilities may not be necessary in all locations, and the time spent in each area may vary by location. Operations Associates serve as the entry point for future leadership roles within Ralph Lauren, where you can begin to write your next great chapter. The position may be offered as full‑time or part‑time, depending on candidate availability and business needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Inventory Management & Operations
- Process freight within specified units per hour goals, including markups, markdowns, and EAS tagging.
- Inspect deliveries for damages, verify packaging, and ensure proper sensor/tag placement.
- Execute daily RFID inventory scans for accurate floor replenishment.
- Manage "Ship to Home" orders and store‑to‑store transfers.
- Complete ISOS replenishment activities and stock room resets.
- Process retickets, create tags, and associate RFID tags.
- Maintain an organized stockroom and aligned inventory levels using company guidelines.
- Customer Service & Sales Floor Support
- Create memorable customer experiences through exceptional service.
- Support Brand Ambassadors with stock checks and merchandise delivery.
- Greet and assist customers with their shopping needs on the sales floor.
- Process sales transactions and follow company policies for returns, discounts, and customer data capture.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming sales floor and fitting rooms.
- Balance operational tasks while prioritizing customer experience.
- Visual Merchandising & Store Standards
- Participate in visual merchandising of the sales floor.
- Maintain store presentation standards following company guidelines.
- Provide feedback to management on product and category opportunities.
- Professional Standards
- Foster a positive work environment aligned with RL values.
- Collaborate effectively with team members.
- Participate in training and company initiatives.
- Support store operations in both front and back‑of‑house functions.
- Back‑of‑house experience or similar industry experience in a complex, high‑volume or high‑profile specialty environment preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
- Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cash-wrap and office; work around/with chemicals, lift/climb up to 30 lbs, and climb moderately.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including day, evening, weekends, and overnight shifts; may include travel as required.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and co‑workers.
