Marketing Consultant Pay
Base salary: $50,000 - $100,000 per year. On‑target earnings: $100,000+.

About DOPE MarketingOur platform combines data‑driven targeting, automated campaign management, and a full‑service print and mail operation, all accessible through software that our clients use every day.
The RoleThis is the most versatile sales seat at DOPE Marketing. You will own a book of accounts that aren’t yet on a paid subscription and turn them into revenue.
What You Will Own- Outbound outreach to free accounts, previous print buyers, and lapsed subscribers via phone, email, and text
- Qualifying each account: understanding their business, their history with DOPE, and the right next step
- Selling across the full product line: print orders, postcard and EDDM campaigns, platform subscriptions, and bundled packages
- Conducting platform walk‑throughs and demos when the customer is ready to explore the full software
- Reactivating churned subscribers by diagnosing what went wrong, presenting solutions, and closing them back onto the platform
- Converting free accounts and one‑time buyers into paid monthly subscribers
- Hitting monthly revenue targets across activations, print sales, and subscription upgrades
- Logging every interaction, outcome, and next step accurately in the CRM
- Providing weekly feedback to leadership on objections, friction points, and what’s working
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, account activation, retention, or customer success
- Proven track record of converting warm leads or lapsed customers into revenue
- Comfortable making 100+ outbound calls per day. The phone is your primary tool.
- Ability to adapt your pitch based on the customer’s situation, not just a script
- Strong product demonstration skills. You show value, not just features.
- Comfortable selling across multiple products and price points within the same conversation
- CRM proficiency (Hub Spot experience is a plus)
- Experience selling to small business owners in home services, SaaS, or marketing services is a strong plus
- Competitive, goal‑oriented, and self‑directed. You own your pipeline and your number.
- You’re uncomfortable with high‑volume outbound. This is a phone‑first role.
- You need a different script for every product. You’ll need to think and adapt on the fly.
- You’ve never been held to a revenue number. We track it, and you’ll own yours.
- You avoid hard conversations. Business owners are direct and they’ll tell you exactly where they stand.
- You’re looking for a role with one product and one playbook. This role has breadth by design.
- You blame leads when you’re not closing. These are warm accounts. The close is on you.
Base salary: $50,000.
On‑target earnings: $100,000+.
Commission structure spans print sales, subscription activations, subscription upgrades, and reactivations. Every product you sell counts toward your number. The reps who learn the full platform and sell across all channels will earn the most.
