**** ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Wire and install AV systems for residential customers.
* Verify and test installed systems.
** QUALIFICATIONS
* ** Journeyman Installer or above
* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Problem solving skills.
* Proficient PC and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience.
* Ability and flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and dependability.
* Ability to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines.
* Computer Networking background a plus.
* Willing to travel to jobsites.

This position is covered by the
** MN Limited Energy collective bargaining agreement
** with a pay range of $38.21 to $51.07 per hour, as negotiated under the terms of the agreement. All pay rates, benefits, and employment terms are determined and administered by the union
** PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
*** This position is exposed to weather conditions.
* Employees are frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl.
* This position requires the ability, and bend or stand as necessary.
* This position requires the ability to move and/or lift objects regularly up to 50 pounds.
** EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
*** High School Graduate
* 4+ years in the Residential Audio-Visual Experience field
* Power Limited License (PLT) required
** PROGRAM INFORMATION
*** Work as a Journeyman LV technician 40 hours per week.
* Valid driver’s license required.
* Wages are based on the union scale and increase based on the number of hours worked.
