Wire and install AV systems for residential customers.

Verify and test installed systems.

• Journeyman Installer or above
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving skills
• Proficient PC and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience
• Ability and flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and dependability
• Ability to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines
• Computer Networking background a plus
• Willing to travel to jobsites

This position is exposed to weather conditions. Employees are frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl. This position requires the ability, and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to move and/or lift objects regularly up to 50 pounds.

High School Graduate. 4+ years of Residential Audio-Visual Experience. Power Limited License (PLT) required.

Work as a Journeyman LV technician 40 hours per week. Valid driver’s license required. Wages are based on union scale and increase based on the number of hours worked.

This position is covered by the MN Limited Energy collective bargaining agreement with a pay range of $38.21 to $51.07 per hour, as negotiated under the terms of the agreement. All pay rates, benefits and employment terms are determined and administered by the union.
