Landscape Irrigation Technician About the Role
Pro Scapes is a professional landscape and snow services company serving the Twin Cities metro area. We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Landscape Irrigation Technician to manage an assigned service account base—keeping client irrigation systems running flawlessly while building positive, proactive relationships with the clients and coworkers you serve. You’ll work both independently and as part of a crew, coordinating your schedule with your supervisor, troubleshooting and repairing systems in the field, and helping us deliver on our promise:
Reliable. Professional. Done Right. This is year-round work, with participation in our snow and ice operations through the winter season.
- Manage your assigned service account base by servicing client needs and maintaining a positive, proactive relationship at every visit.
- Maintain, repair, and help construct irrigation systems to a high standard of quality.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities with your supervisor and manage your schedule accordingly.
- Complete assigned tasks in the manner instructed by your supervisor, working both alone and alongside others.
- Monitor sites and suggest improvements to system performance and efficiency.
- Report needs for additional equipment, personnel, materials, or tools — and report any damage or loss to assigned equipment immediately.
- Maintain and submit all recordkeeping and billing information accurately and on time.
- Follow best safety practices on every job site.
- Participate in the planning and execution of snow & ice services during the winter season.
- Actively pursue career-based educational opportunities, and take on additional duties as assigned.
- A self-starting attitude and a positive outlook.
- Detail-oriented, rigorous approach to your work.
- A genuine desire to interact with clients and coworkers professionally.
- Solid working knowledge of irrigation system maintenance, repair, and construction.
- Ability to read and understand irrigation and landscape design plans.
- Good knowledge of equipment, tool, and machine maintenance and operation.
- Basic knowledge of managing the urban outdoor environment.
- A willingness to embrace and use technology on the job.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of and commitment to safe work practices.
- At least one career-related license or certification.
- Competitive pay: $25 – $38/hour, depending on experience.
- A great benefits package.
- A supportive team that takes pride in doing the job right.
