Compensation
- Hourly rate $20.00-$26.00, depending on experience.
- Monthly Technician Bonus Plan.
- Mileage Reimbursement or Fleet Vehicle and gas card (based on availability).
About the Role
The Field Service Technician will provide on‑site technical support, maintenance, and repair for office equipment, including black and white, color, and multifunction printers, copiers, and related devices across the Eagan, MN area. This role focuses on delivering reliable service, training customers, diagnosing issues, and maintaining equipment to support local businesses.
Responsibilities- Provide printer and copier maintenance, service, and repairs to customers.
- Deliver product training efficiently and effectively.
- Diagnose equipment issues and carry out installations and upgrades.
- Make modifications, remove old units, and retrofit existing hardware.
- Complete field calls according to priority while managing time effectively.
- Continuously enhance technical skills for field assignments.
- Rebuild components at the shop.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of three years of experience in copier/office equipment repair, service, and installation (preferred), or in technical service, repair, or training of Photo , printers, s, fingerprint equipment, or comparable products.
- Advanced education, certification, or internships relevant to the field can be used to meet experience requirements.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Valid state driver’s license and minimum auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for extensive use of personal vehicle.
