Engineering Intern – AI-Assisted Mobile Testing & Migration

Job Description

Teledyne Technologies is looking for an Engineering Intern – AI‑Assisted Mobile Testing & Migration. The internship focuses on supporting the development, testing, and modernization of mobile applications used for aircraft maintenance and performance operations in safety‑critical environments.

• Assist with manual and automated testing for iOS and Android applications.
• Support AI‑assisted testing workflows including test generation and analysis.
• Contribute to mobile application technology and framework migration efforts.
• Validate behavior across devices, OS versions, and environments.
• Support CI/CD‑based test execution (e.g., Git Hub Actions).
• Document test cases and results using Jira‑based tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with engineering teams.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Exposure to software testing, mobile apps, or AI technologies is a plus but not required.

• Basic programming in Python, Swift, or C#.
• Git and source control fundamentals.
• Interest in CI/CD, mobile platforms, and AI‑assisted tooling.

• Strong curiosity and learning mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Interest in applying AI to real‑world engineering problems.

This is a full‑time internship, Monday through Friday from 7:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. It may require long hours, weekends, or holidays to meet project deadlines.

• Foundational Technical Skills – Understanding of software development and testing fundamentals, basic programming, debugging, and test execution for mobile applications.
• Mobile & Platform Awareness – Understanding of core mobile application concepts, device variability, OS versions, and application lifecycle.
• Test & Quality Mindset – Attention to detail and appreciation for software quality, validation, and defect prevention.
• AI‑Assisted Engineering Awareness – Curiosity and willingness to learn how AI‑assisted tools can improve testing and development workflows.
• Automation Readiness – Interest in automated testing concepts and CI/CD pipelines.
• Problem‑Solving Skills – Ability to analyze issues, ask thoughtful questions, and apply feedback to resolve problems incrementally.
• Collaboration & Communication – Effective communication with engineers, test engineers, mentors, and clear written and verbal progress reporting.

$46,100.00 – $61,400.00 (actual compensation determined by factors such as location, experience, and skills).
