SR. User Experience Designer (UX Prototyper)

Location:

Eagan, MN

Duration: 12 Month

• Prototype from design comps created by the design team to produce deliverables for eliciting customer feedback
• Have a design point-of-view and be able to discuss ideas, give and receive feedback; focus on building what is in the design comp
• Understand design direction to communicate cross‑functionally with Research, Product, and Strategy partners
• Refine prototypes based on UX research results
• Build realistic and convincing interactive prototypes
• Build micro‑interactions and transition animations
• Create videos to showcase concepts
• Determine when a simple clickable prototype will suffice and when a more interactive prototype is required for research

• B.S. in Computer Science, Human‑Computer Interaction, Engineering, Design, or related field
• Substantial experience creating sophisticated prototypes that incorporate conditional logic and real data, with advanced prototyping tools (Invision, Principle, Axure, Flinto, Framer, or Flash)
• Substantial experience with animation tools (Principle, Framer, After Effects, Flow, or Haiku)
• Prior experience developing a functional prototype from design comps
• Proficiency with design production tools Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch
• Some (1‑2 years) experience with HTML and CSS to assist with building interactive prototypes
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Strong understanding of UI and UX principles
• Possess a collaborative, learning mindset, constantly seeking improvement, and eager to grow and share knowledge
• Thrive in an environment requiring strong problem‑solving skills, independent self‑direction, and timely execution as part of an agile team
• Meticulous attention to visual detail and a natural eye for design
