Driver Class A

SIGN ON – Up to $3,000 Available to Qualified Candidates

Clean Harbors in Eagan, MN is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll‑offs. The role involves driving and non‑driving duties on and off customer sites related to hazardous waste clean‑up.

• Monday – Friday
  • Overtime available

• Sign‑On bonus – up to $3,000 for qualified candidates

• Ensure health and safety by following all safe work practices, policies, and procedures
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks
• Load and unload trucks
• Perform manual labor on site to fulfill customer needs
• Properly placard vehicles to meet company and DOT regulations
• Maintain daily logs, timesheets, and reports
• Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Operate vehicles in compliance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements
• Observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
• Observe all company environmental H&S guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating two‑week basis
• Perform site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous material handling when required

• Valid Class A CDL
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment
• Ability to use various mobile devices
• Perform physical functions required by the job
• Successfully complete background check, drug test, and physical exam (as required)
• Meet facial hair standards per OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard 29 CFR 1910.34 for respirator users

• Commercial driver experience
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (existing)
• Previous Hazmat experience
• Ability to operate a manual transmission
• Previous manual labor experience
