CDL Equipment Operator​/HAZMAT Truck Driver

Clean Harbors in Eagan, MN is seeking a CDL Equipment Operator / Truck Driver to operate light and heavy‑duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites. The role includes operating vacuum trailers, roll‑off trailers, van trailers, box trucks and high‑powered vacuum loaders and performing both driving and non‑driving duties associated with hazardous waste clean‑up.

New hires must attend a two‑week Academy training out of state; expenses are paid by the company.

• Starting pay:
  Class B – $24-$28/hr, Class A – $28/hr+

• Ensure health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed in a team atmosphere
• Operate a variety of Class B trucks
• Load and unload trucks
• Maintain customer satisfaction during service
• Properly placard vehicles to meet company and DOT requirements/regulations
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports
• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
• Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Be available on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week
• Perform site‑remediation, equipment decontamination, and the handling of hazardous materials

• Required Qualifications
• Valid Class B CDL, no restrictions
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
• Ability to operate a manual transmission
• Ability to use various mobile devices
• Perform physical functions as required by the job
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical exam
• Meet facial hair standards for respirators per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.34
• Preferred Qualifications
• Commercial driver experience
• Previous Hazmat experience
• Previous manual labor experience
