Senior Superintendent

Responsible for the timely and cost‑effective field coordination, quality control, and day‑to‑day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare the project schedule and maintain accurate reports describing project status.
  • Coordinate field activities, ensuring quality control and efficient supervision of subcontractors.
  • Review status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives regularly. Large projects involve multiple Superintendents.
  • Ensure safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when operating tools and equipment.
  • Direct subcontractor activities within pharmaceutical projects.
  • Analyze manpower, material, and equipment requirements and interface these needs with other stakeholders as designated by the supervising superintendent.
  • Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and related work rules established by field construction management.
  • Prepare reports and forecasts as required, keeping supervisors informed on the progress of overall assigned activities.
  • Ensure safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others in the operational area, with tools and equipment operated safely.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of field experience in commercial projects.
  • Commercial and Life Science construction experience preferred.
  • Experience should include supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer, or Assistant Superintendent.
  • Well‑developed communication, interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills required.
