Responsibilities- Assist Development leadership and the Project Manager with day-to-day activities on multiple projects across campuses, keeping budgets, schedules, and status reports updated.
- Prepare development program and project status updates for executive-level reviews; collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a complete campus design solution and capital budget.
- Support entitlement and permitting needs for assigned sites; develop scopes of work for design, construction, commissioning services, and assist with procurement and cost estimates.
- Evaluate pricing proposals for design, construction, and commissioning; coordinate with the strategic procurement team on equipment procurement and delivery.
- Monitor project budgets and cost-to-date; review schedules and lead teams to on-time completion; assess and process change order requests with contractors.
- Establish site construction security procedures with the site security team; maintain relationships with key QTS stakeholders and represent QTS interests in OAC meetings.
- Support due diligence for new land or development opportunities and assist with establishing and monitoring entitlement and permit processes as needed.
- Work with internal development teams to enhance project management processes and protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint for executive updates; Excel for budgets and program tracking).
- One or more years of professional experience in commercial construction, including Lump Sum, CM at Risk, and Design-Build delivery methods.
- Experience or exposure to mission-critical data center facilities and management of MEP trades.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to work with all levels of the organization and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
