Scheduler/Planner
QISG is seeking a Project Scheduler to support a 286MW simple-cycle power generation project in Eagle Mountain, Utah. This construction-focused role will support project execution by developing and maintaining Primavera P6 schedules, tracking progress, analyzing risks, and partnering with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management teams.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting EPC, utility, or heavy industrial construction projects with strong scheduling and project controls experience. Power generation experience is preferred but not required. This is a full-time, permanent position with QISG. Upon project completion, the selected candidate will transition to another active project within the organization.
Location:
Eagle Mountain, UT — approximately 75% onsite, Monday–Friday. Utah-based candidates or those within commuting distance preferred.

QISG is seeking a Scheduler to support a 286MW simple-cycle power generation project supporting a major data center. This construction-focused role requires approximately 75% onsite support in Eagle Mountain, UT. Power generation experience is preferred but not required; strong EPC, utility, or heavy industrial construction scheduling experience is essential.
What You'll Do- Develop and maintain Linear Schedule Method (LSM) and Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules using Primavera P6, supporting both project scheduling and execution planning.
- Develop, baseline, update, and analyze cost- and resource-loaded schedules to establish realistic project plans and support successful execution.
- Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Project Management, suppliers, and trade partners to develop and maintain integrated project schedules aligned with project goals and field activities.
- Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Financial Breakdown Structure (FBS) alignment to support cost tracking, forecasting, and project performance.
- Monitor Earned Value Management (EVM), KPIs, cash flow curves, productivity, and schedule performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform schedule analysis, time impact analysis, critical path reviews, and recovery planning to proactively address delays and maintain key project milestones.
- Support short-interval planning, work sequencing, look-ahead planning, productivity tracking, and resource coordination to improve project execution.
- Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, progress updates, and planning deliverables for project leadership and stakeholders.
- Independently manage project scheduling and planning activities while ensuring alignment with QISG project controls standards, processes, and best practices.
- 8+ years of experience developing and managing resource- and cost-loaded schedules for EPC, utility, heavy industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, Earned Value Management (EVM), schedule performance metrics, and project controls principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 required.
- Experience with TILOS, Acumen, or other project controls software is a plus.
- Experience partnering with engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project management teams to develop execution plans, coordinate activities, and maintain project milestones.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, field personnel, leadership, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and highly organized, with strong planning, time management, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. - Ability to work onsite approximately 75% of the project duration.

Additional Details:
- If the employee does not currently reside in the Eagle Mountain, UT area and requires temporary housing for the duration of the project, rental expenses may be charged to the company P-card.
- The company P-card will also be used for approved business travel expenses.
