We are looking for someone who is genuinely good at starting conversations with strangers and turning them into real business relationships. You will own top-of-funnel outreach at a lean, fast-moving technology advisory firm. No micromanagement. No carrier quotas. No vendor bias. Just you, a strong playbook, and the autonomy to execute.

The Role

This is a pure outbound role. Your job is to identify the right decision-makers at mid-market companies, start real conversations, and set qualified discovery meetings for our advisory team. The AEs close. You open.

Your three core outreach channels:

  • Linked In: personalized, research-driven outreach to IT and CX leaders at companies with 100 to 5,000 employees
  • Cold email: targeted sequences built around each prospect's industry and technology challenges
  • Phone: direct outbound calls to decision-makers and referral partners

You will also play a key role in building our referral partner network, reaching out to recruit and activate new partners who can send introductions our way.

What You Will Do
  • Build and execute a structured outbound prospecting strategy targeting mid-market companies nationally
  • Identify and engage decision-makers including IT Directors, VP of IT, Directors of Infrastructure, CIOs, VP of Customer Experience, and Directors of Contact Center through personalized outreach
  • Qualify prospects against Onetel Connect's ICP and set high-quality discovery meetings for the advisory team
  • Recruit and activate new referral partners through targeted outbound calling campaigns
  • Research target accounts to craft relevant, personalized outreach tied to each prospect's specific technology challenges
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all outreach activity and pipeline status in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to refine messaging, targeting, and sequences based on what is working
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity targets and qualified meeting goals
What You Bring

You are probably a fit if you:

  • Have 1 to 4 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or outbound sales role in B2B technology, SaaS, telecom, or managed services
  • Have a real track record of hitting outbound activity and pipeline metrics, not just participation
  • Know how to write a cold message that does not sound like a cold message
  • Are comfortable on the phone and do not need a script to have a real conversation
  • Have used Salesforce or a comparable CRM to manage and track your pipeline
  • Thrive without someone telling you what to do every hour, but still want clear goals and regular feedback
  • Are genuinely curious about technology and enjoy learning how businesses make buying decisions

This role is not a fit if you need a lot of hand-holding, struggle with rejection, or are looking for an easy warm inbound queue. This is outbound every day.

What Success Looks Like First 30 Days
  • Complete onboarding on Onetel Connect's service offerings, value proposition, and ICP
  • Shadow advisory team members on discovery calls to understand what a qualified meeting looks like
  • Build your initial prospect lists and begin outreach activity
First 90 Days
  • Executing daily outbound sequences across phone, email, and Linked In
  • Delivering a consistent pipeline of qualified mid-market prospects
  • Hitting a target of 20 qualified discovery meetings per month for the advisory team
  • Actively recruiting and engaging new referral partners
Compensation

Base salary plus commission.

  • Commission is uncapped. Exceed the target and you earn more.
  • During ramp (months one and two), commission is paid on every qualified meeting with no minimum threshold. Starting month three, a minimum of 10 qualified meetings per month applies before commission kicks in.
