Fitness Equipment Installation Technician​/Driver

Salt City Fitness Repair is hiring a full-time Installation Technician / Driver.

• Load, unload, move, and stage fitness equipment from trucks and trailers
• Drive and transport equipment from the warehouse to job sites
• Assemble and install fitness equipment using hand tools and power tools
• Safely maneuver large and heavy equipment using dollies, pallet jacks, and team lifting practices
• Work in a variety of environments, including gyms, schools, homes, military facilities, and commercial spaces
• Follow company procedures and safety standards at all times
• Maintain a professional, respectful attitude with coworkers, clients, and facility staff
• Stay on task, work efficiently, and contribute positively to the team

• Has a strong work ethic and shows up ready to work
• Is dependable, punctual, and consistent
• Works well with a team and communicates respectfully
• Is comfortable with physically demanding, hands‑on labor
• Can follow instructions, stay productive, and take ownership of their work
• Is coachable and open to feedback
• Can represent the company professionally on job sites

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel throughout Utah and surrounding states
• Ability to stay overnight 1–2 nights per week as needed
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy equipment with team support and proper tools
• Ability to crouch, kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces for extended periods when needed
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools correctly and safely
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Professional attitude and respectful communication

• Experience with installation, assembly, moving, or delivery work
• Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with mechanical and/or electrical components
• Experience driving a truck with a trailer
• Ability to use a pallet jack and 4‑wheel dolly
• Forklift experience

• Starting pay is $18–$19 per hour
