Overview

Responsibilities- Supervise and lead electricians and apprentices on residential and commercial job sites.
- Plan daily work activities and assign tasks based on project schedules and crew skill levels.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and building plans.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with the latest electrical code, local regulations, and company quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
- Perform layout, installation, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical systems when needed.
- Order, receive, and manage materials, tools, and equipment to minimize delays and waste.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
- Train, mentor, and develop apprentices and journeyman electricians.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and code compliance before inspections.
- Maintain accurate daily job logs, time records, progress reports, and change orders.
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly to minimize downtime.
- Schedule inspections and ensure all required permits and documentation are completed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
- Represent the company professionally with customers, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Current Journeyman Electrician license
- 5+ years of electrical installation experience with previous leadership or foreman experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience using construction management software (such as Jobber or similar) is a plus
