Operations Technician – I&E

Responsibilities

• Maintaining one of Williams’ largest installations of horsepower and power distribution equipment
• Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems, including switch gear, motor controls, control loops, PLCs (Allen Bradley), and both AC/DC systems
• Ensuring safe and reliable operations by identifying root causes of equipment issues and implementing corrective actions to reduce downtime
• Maintaining and repairing process control systems to support efficient plant operations
• Collaborating with project teams to define scope and instrumentation specifications for new installations and upgrades
• Performing additional duties as needed to support operations

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and travel between locations
• Ability to work in extreme conditions and elevated areas with PPE
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence
• 2+ years of related experience, preferably in oil & gas (Technician II)
• 3+ years of technician experience, preferably in oil & gas (Technician III)
• 6+ years of experience with similar equipment or facilities;
  Associate degree preferred (Technician Sr)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC applications
• Familiarity with Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
