Title:

Assistant Manager

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver pizzas and other products within designated delivery area (including navigating multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product).
• Assist with on-the-job orientation and training as part of onboarding.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders; eye–hand coordination to perform tasks efficiently.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas.
• Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
• Fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler; hot surfaces/tools up to 500 degrees or higher; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Delivery-related conditions, including driving in varying weather and traffic.

• Standing for long periods; walking on varied surfaces; variable heights of work surfaces (36"–48").
• Delivery personnel may travel between store and delivery vehicle and from vehicle to customer location.
• Manual tasks requiring eye–hand coordination; frequent use of hands for dough shaping, cutting, and handling equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry items such as ingredients, cases, and supplies up to 50 pounds; occasional heavier items (e.g., 30 lb sauces, 12 lb trays) with safe handling.
• Frequent reaching, bending, squatting, and twisting as part of stocking, cleaning, and operating equipment.
• Ability to climb stairs when needed and to navigate multiple floors for price changes, maintenance, or delivery duties.

Delivery responsibilities include delivering product by car to customer doors and distributing flyers/door hangers as needed. The position requires valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
