About the Position
Our client is seeking a qualified CDL A Driver for a local driving opportunity in Salt Lake City. This position offers daily home time while transporting products safely to customers. Light touch - Physical requirements include the ability to safely lift, push, pull, or move up to 175 pounds
- Operate a tractor/trailer in accordance with company policies and DOT guidelines.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
- Secure cargo on the trailer and complete deliveries according to the manifest.
- Interact with customers to open, close, and secure trailer curtains and doors.
- Obtain customer signatures on proof of delivery and submit documentation to the dispatcher.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the truck and trailer.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
- Current DOT-certified medical card.
- Ability to safely lift, push, pull, or move up to 175 pounds.
