DIETITIAN

Responsibilities

• Consult with the Food Service Director to establish policies, procedures, standards, and objectives for the department operations.
• Assist in assuring delivery of quality nutrition and food services.
• Coordinate with other departments to provide a maximum level of service.
• Assist the Food Service Director in ensuring department compliance with accreditation and regulatory agency requirements.

• Registered Dietitian licensed by the State of Texas.
• Membership in the American Dietetic Association.
• Working knowledge of audiovisual equipment, typewriter, and computer (experience preferred).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition.
