Role Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates and treats patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, providing assessments, developing care plans, and reassessing progress regularly.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct speech therapy assessments upon physician orders.
- Deliver written evaluations and care plans to physicians.
- Reassess patients monthly to update treatment strategies.
- Supervise speech therapy assistants and support staff.
- Continuously enhance professional knowledge and skills.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Texas Speech Therapy License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to work independently with a courteous attitude.
