American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room Circulator position requiring at least 3 years of OR experience and active TX or compact RN licensure.

• 13-week contract in a hospital operating room setting
• OR Circulator role focused on operative procedure support
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8-hour shifts starting at 6:30 AM
• 40 hours per week
• On-call required 1–2 days per week and 2 weekends per month

• Active TX or compact RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA-issued only)
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
• Minimum 2 years of prior U.S. hospital experience in the specialty required
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
• BSN highly desired
• US Social Security Number required
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures
• Prepares the OR for the patient and surgical procedure, including assembling equipment and supplies and verifying availability of implants
• Adheres to aseptic technique standards and departmental protocols
• Consults and coordinates with the surgical team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans
• Serves as a communication liaison between patients, families, and members of the operating team
• All certifications must be AHA-issued

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
