Provide engaging, standards‑based instruction in English Language Arts to students in grades K‑12. Use differentiated instruction and re‑teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners, analyze student data to inform instruction, and adjust lessons for whole‑class and individual learning. Scaffolding rigorous lessons, integrating technology, and collaborating with colleagues on curriculum and instructional practices. Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment, support student growth, and participate in school‑wide initiatives and professional learning communities.

Opportunities to coach or advise extracurricular activities may be required.

• Current Oregon Teaching License with endorsement in English Language Arts.
• Experience with Standards‑Based Teaching and Learning practices, differentiated instruction, scaffolding, and student engagement strategies.
• Proficiency in analyzing and using student data to guide instruction.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to equitable learning experiences for all students.

Contract Days: 193/194 days per year, 8 hours per day
Salary Range: $46,548 – $90,846 per year plus a Master’s stipend of $2,327. Salary placement will depend on verified full‑time experience and Master’s level credits.
