Eagle Rock Elementary within Eagle Point School District 9 seeks a compassionate, adaptable, and motivated Special Education Instructional Assistant. You will work closely with special education teachers, administrators, and support staff to provide vital services and instruction to students with special needs. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development and ensuring they have the tools and care to succeed.

• Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide one‑on‑one or small‑group support to students.
• Assist students with personal and physical care.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Ensure compliance with special education regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post‑secondary coursework, an associate’s degree, or passing district assessments accepted.
• Training or willingness to be trained in CPR, first aid, CPI restraint procedures, and special education best practices.
• Prior experience supporting students with special needs preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and patience.
• Bilingual Spanish speakers encouraged.

Salary: $18.87–$26.85 per hour (dependent on prior full‑time experience). 182 days per year, 7 hours per day.

Position begins September 8, 2026. Employment subject to the 2023–2026 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
