Eagle Point Middle School Eagle Point School District is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. This position requires an Oregon Special Education Generalist license or an equivalent credential, or the ability to obtain the appropriate licensure prior to the start date. The position involves collaboration with school administrators, staff, students, and families to create an inclusive educational environment where all students can thrive.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in specifically designed instruction for students with disabilities, including reading, mathematics, behavior, social skills, and life skills. A strong desire to collaborate with educators, support staff, families, and external agencies is essential. The ability to adapt and implement curriculum to meet the diverse and evolving needs of students is a key component of this role.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering individualized instruction, participating in multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal special education regulations. The teacher will provide leadership in developing and maintaining a continuum of special education services, assist general education teachers in curriculum adaptation and support students in achieving their academic and behavioral goals. Effective classroom management, strong communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment are essential.

No less than $46,548 - $90,846 plus master's stipend of $2,327 (depending upon approved previous experience and graduate level credits).
