Job Overview
Ultrasound Technologist at Providence Medford Medical Center, Medford, OR. Per Diem / Variable Shift.
Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.
Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians.
- Use advanced ultrasound equipment.
- Consider patient special or age-related needs.
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Upon hire:
Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary. - National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire:
National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. - New graduates: board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
- New graduates: OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
- 2 years clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
- 2 years OBGYN sonography experience.

Pay RangeBase pay range: $41.65 - $64.65 per hour. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
