Job Overview

Ultrasound Technologist at Providence Medford Medical Center, Medford, OR. Per Diem / Variable Shift.

Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.

• Perform ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians.
• Use advanced ultrasound equipment.
• Consider patient special or age-related needs.

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire:
  Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire:
  National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• New graduates: board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates: OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

• 2 years clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
• 2 years OBGYN sonography experience.

Base pay range: $41.65 - $64.65 per hour. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
