Eagle Point School District 9 (EPSD9) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team. This is a critical role supporting students with diverse needs in accessing and benefiting from their educational experience.

Located in the beautiful Rogue Valley of southern Oregon, EPSD9 serves approximately 3,650 students in Eagle Point, White City, and surrounding communities. About the Role

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides education-related occupational therapy services to students with a variety of cognitive, emotional, or physical disabilities under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist. This position collaborates with staff, families, and service providers to support student access, participation, and progress in school environments. Responsibilities include implementing therapy plans, supporting student skill development, maintaining records, and assisting with adaptive strategies that promote independence and success in the classroom.

We are seeking a flexible, student-centered professional who is passionate about supporting ALL students and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Applicants must hold a valid Oregon COTA license and a National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification. Candidates should demonstrate strong collaboration skills, adaptability, empathy, and effective communication when working with students, staff, and families. Prior experience working with students with diverse needs is preferred.

Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply.
