Anthro Med Education is a growing organization of school-based professionals committed to supporting students and the nurses who care for them. We are hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse in Eagle Point, Oregon, for the  school year, beginning in August 2026. This opportunity is open to experienced LPNs who have prior tracheostomy care experience and are comfortable providing services independently.

This role supports two elementary students with medical needs and offers a structured healthcare plan, oversight from the district’s school nurse, and a consistent Monday through Friday schedule. It is a strong opportunity for an LPN who is confident with tracheostomy management and values collaboration while maintaining independence throughout the school day.

What Your Role Will Look Like

  • Schedule:

    Five days per week
  • Hours:

    7.5 hours per day
  • School year: , starting in August
  • Caseload overview:
    Two elementary students with medical needs requiring LPN-level support
  • Service model:
    Direct nursing care provided throughout the school day according to each student’s healthcare plan
  • Tracheostomy care:
    Independently clean, manage, and support a tracheostomy, with care needed approximately every hour
  • Clinical oversight:
    The district’s school nurse will develop the student healthcare plan and provide clinical oversight
  • Collaboration:

    Communicate with the school nurse and school team regarding student needs, services, and changes in health status
  • Independence:
    Remain comfortable performing assigned nursing services independently during the school day

Clinical Support Through Anthro Med

Qualifications

  • Completion of an approved practical nursing education program
  • Active Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing
  • Prior tracheostomy care experience is required
  • Demonstrated ability to independently clean, manage, and support a tracheostomy
  • Ability to provide nursing services within the individual scope of LPN practice
  • Ability to follow student healthcare plans and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising school nurse
  • Strong collaboration skills and an interest in school-based nursing practice
