Retail Scan Associate

Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

Perform in‑store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Using a downloadable mobile app, scan barcodes of all displayed products and provide quantities of about 45% of the scanned products. Estimated time is 3 to 5 hours per week, varying with store size and project requirements. Complete display scanning of the entire store each week and optionally custom projects requested by clients for additional 30 minutes to 2 hours.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Must be deadline‑driven self‑starter
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi
• Must be tech savvy
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
