Automotive Service Technician – All Experience Levels

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repairs accurately and efficiently
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and service equipment
  • Document completed work and recommended repairs
  • Communicate with Service Advisors when additional service is needed
  • Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
  • Follow dealership procedures and safety standards
  • Stand behind the quality of your work and support fellow team members
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Clean driving record
  • Automotive experience or technical training preferred, but not required for every level
  • ASE certifications preferred, not required
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
  • Willingness to learn new technology and repair procedures
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Commitment to quality and customer service
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
