Summer Camp Tennis Coach

Overview

We are looking to hire a Tennis Coach for this summer who would be responsible to teach both group and private lessons to campers of a wide skill range—some who have never played before and others who are looking to make their high school varsity teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to coach in a supportive and close-knit community, make a real impact on campers, and have a ton of fun while doing so.

This unique experience will provide you with a chance to hone your leadership skills, be a meaningful role model, collaborate as an integral member of a team and live traditional overnight camp life.

The job runs from May 29th - August 6th with a bit of flexibility for those that need it. Room, board and a travel stipend are all a part of the compensation package which also includes a competitive salary.

Successful Chippewa Tennis Coaches have experience or an interest in:

• Coaching tennis for campers of varying skill levels (ages 7-15)
• Leading engaging, fun & productive hour long lessons/drills
• Supporting camper skills, growth, confidence, and strategy
• Working collaboratively with other staff members
• Fostering a safe and positive camp environment
