Under the direct supervision of the Community Development Director this position provides administrative support to all members of the department. This position performs the following duties: receptionist, answering calls, greeting customers, managing Planning inbox. Report generation, managing files, reviewing business licenses, managing databases, processing invoices, assisting the Director with department budget administration, and other support functions as needed by Community Development staff.
Ability to model Town of Eagle staff values of integrity, respect, commitment, responsibility, collaboration, and leadership. This position is in-office.

Community Development- Performs essential administrative duties including answering calls and greeting customers.
- Works with Planners regarding the acceptance, processing, issuance and tracking of land use applications.
- Works with Building Department regarding the acceptance, processing, and issuance of building permits.
- Records management generates various reports.
- Manage and track planning department expenses and reimbursable expenses including invoices.
- Process and provide research for public record requests.
- Assisting Planners with public notices for land use applications and long-range projects.
- Coordinates Planning & Zoning Commission hearings, electronic packets, agendas, and minutes and assists with Town Council as needed.
- Manage the Community Development webpage and any associated sites.
- Drafts and designs general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
- Supports Community Development with operating the Council Chamber tech system/conducting hybrid meetings.
- Assist Planners with processing of sign permits, mobile vendor permits, business license applications, and other administrative reviews and approvals.
- Assist with planning & executing events hosted by or involving the department.
- Purchases office supplies to support day-to-day office functions.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Normal days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with a typical 8-hour day. Regular, predictable, and dependable on-site workplace attendance is an essential function of the job, however flexibility in scheduling is supported. May attend Planning & Zoning Committee meetings (1st and 3rd Tuesday at 6 p.m.).
