Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching license for the state of Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with early childhood/pre-K preferred
- Strong knowledge of best SPED practices, IEP planning, and student accommodation strategies
- Ability to effectively manage caseloads of 10-20 students
- Deliver engaging instruction and support for early childhood students across a variety of school sites
- Utilize differentiated strategies to meet a range of developmental and educational needs
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Regularly communicate with families regarding progress and development
- Contribute to IEP development and ongoing assessment
