Special Education Teacher - Eagle

Two contract opportunities are available, serving unique age groups and offering the chance to support both early learners and middle school students in an inclusive, collaborative environment.

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience working with early childhood or middle school students, depending on assignment
• Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, positive classroom atmosphere
• Adaptability to work across multiple sites, if necessary
• Dedication to driving student growth and well-being

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans for students with diverse needs
• Assess academic and social progress, modifying instruction as required
• Collaborate with related services staff and classroom teachers to facilitate inclusion
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for IEPs and student progress
• Communicate regularly with families to address students needs and celebrate achievements
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions

• Early Childhood (PreK):
  Full-time, 40 hours/week, 7:30 AM 3:30 PM, August 2026 May 2027, serving 10-20 young learners at multiple district locations based on expertise
• Middle School (Grades 6-8):
  Full-time, 40 hours/week, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM, August 2026 May 2027, supporting 22 students at the middle school; in-person preferred, may consider virtual for the right candidate

Pay is $82.58 per hour, offering competitive compensation for your expertise.
