Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
This contract role places an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in Eagle, Colorado for a 36-week assignment. The position offers up to $58 per hour, based on experience, and focuses on delivering specialized instruction to preschool-age children with developmental delays or disabilities. The teacher will collaborate with classroom staff and therapists to implement individualized education plans and maintain compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide specialized instruction and support to preschool children aged 3-5 with developmental delays or disabilities.
- Collaborate with classroom staff and therapists to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student activities and progress for compliance and reporting.
- Engage families and caregivers to support student success and communication.
- Early Childhood Special Education Credential.
- ECSE certification.
- 1+ year experience in early childhood special education.
- In-person availability and ability to work with preschool-age children (3-5 years old).
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 30 children.
- Flexibility to adjust hours as needed.
- Commitment to a full-time 40-hour workweek.
