Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

This contract role places an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in Eagle, Colorado for a 36-week assignment. The position offers up to $58 per hour, based on experience, and focuses on delivering specialized instruction to preschool-age children with developmental delays or disabilities. The teacher will collaborate with classroom staff and therapists to implement individualized education plans and maintain compliance documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized instruction and support to preschool children aged 3-5 with developmental delays or disabilities.
  • Collaborate with classroom staff and therapists to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student activities and progress for compliance and reporting.
  • Engage families and caregivers to support student success and communication.
Qualifications:
  • Early Childhood Special Education Credential.
  • ECSE certification.
  • 1+ year experience in early childhood special education.
  • In-person availability and ability to work with preschool-age children (3-5 years old).
  • Ability to manage a caseload of up to 30 children.
  • Flexibility to adjust hours as needed.
  • Commitment to a full-time 40-hour workweek.
