We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to support a late-phase, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial with an open-label extension. This role involves in-home study visits for adult participants as part of a multicenter research program focused on a neurological condition.
Role OverviewTwo RNs will work collaboratively as blinded and unblinded professionals to conduct protocol-required home visits and administer investigational medication. This position is ideal for nurses with clinical research experience who are comfortable working independently in the home setting while maintaining strict study compliance.
- Provide in-home clinical support, including lab draws and infusion administration
- Visits will take place in:
Eagle, CO 81631 - Schedule: 1 visit per week, approximately 2 hours per visit,
total of 2-4 hours per week when combined with travel time, visit preparation, etc. - Preferred time: Flexible between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Days: M-F
- Partner with another RN to complete home study visits, functioning in either a blinded or unblinded role
- Unblinded RN responsibilities include:
- Receipt of investigational product from courier
- Preparation of investigational product per protocol
- Blinded RN responsibilities include:
- Completion of all other visit activities
- Administration of investigational product
- Coordinate visit scheduling and communication between blinded and unblinded team members
- Conduct in-home clinical assessments, which may include:
- Review of hospitalizations, health status changes, and medication changes
- Review of withdrawal criteria
- Laboratory sample collection, processing, packaging, and shipment
- Administer medication via subcutaneous infusion
- Notify the clinical site of scheduled visit dates and times with a minimum of 3 business days’ advance notice to support coordination
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of TX
- Experience with subcutaneous infusions
- Clinical trial or research nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to protocol compliance
- Comfortable working independently in participants’ homes
- Competitive hourly pay
