Armed Security Officer

Location: Eagle, CO 81631
Employment Type: Part-Time
Pay Rate: $25.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday: coverage for open shifts, call-offs, and vacation relief

Citadel Security USA is seeking a Part-Time Armed Security Officer to provide coverage at a courthouse or government facility in Eagle. This role is primarily focused on maintaining order, controlling access, and supporting a secure environment for staff, officials, and visitors.

This is a fill-in position, ideal for someone with a flexible schedule who can step in as needed and follow established procedures in a structured setting.

• Maintain a professional armed presence inside and around the facility
• Monitor entrances and manage access to restricted areas
• Verify identification and authorize entry based on site procedures
• Observe daily activity and report any concerns or unusual behavior
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies in a controlled manner
• Provide assistance to visitors while maintaining security standards
• Complete accurate reports and documentation for all activities and incidents
• Follow all courthouse protocols, post orders, and company guidelines

• Personal firearm compliant with state laws and company policy
• Ability to meet all Colorado requirements for armed security positions
• Strong situational awareness and sound judgment
• Clear communication skills and professional demeanor
• Reliable and able to respond to schedule needs on short notice

• Prior experience in courthouse, government, or similar secure environments
• Background in armed security or public safety roles
• Familiarity with access control and report writing

• Government building with structured procedures and protocols
• Primarily indoor assignment with consistent public interaction
• Duties may involve standing for extended periods and monitoring entry points
