Job Description Summary

In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional business partners to provide analysis, reporting, fact-based recommendations, and insights that will assist in delivering against stated financial and performance objectives. You will support the North America Food service business unit’s finance and sales leadership in multiple areas, including trade management / optimization and business unit FP&A, with primary focus on trade management.

Job Description
  • Lead N. America Food service trade optimization, reporting, and analytics, serving as the subject matter expert for trade spend
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of trade spend drivers, translating insights into clear business implications
  • Establish, track, and reconcile trade accruals and reserves, ensuring balance sheet accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness and health of trade settlement processes, identifying risks and improvement opportunities
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to provide proactive, data-driven recommendations that optimize profitability and top and bottom-line growth
  • Develop the annual trade plan in collaboration with the Finance Director as part of the annual operating plan
  • Collaborate with finance and sales leadership to build trade forecasts and scenario analyses
  • Support activation of pricing and trade programs within LW systems in partnership with the broader finance team
  • Own month-end and quarter-end close activities related to trade, including analysis and management reporting
  • Provide technical and process expertise cross-functionally to enhance reporting, controls, and system capabilities
  • Contribute to broader FP&A activities over time, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, as the role evolves
  • Continuously improve financial models, processes, and controls to support business scale and complexity
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to an analyst, ensuring rigorous analysis and impactful strategic recommendations

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field required, finance or accounting preferred
  • Master’s degree in a business field is a plus
Skills And Experience
  • 7+ years of professional experience in financial analysis, reporting, and data management
  • Strong understanding of P&L management and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Proven ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex analyses, managing multiple projects concurrently, and delivering high-quality outputs with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable financial insights and recommendations
