This position will be required to travel to all Cap Ed locations, excluding Twin Falls.
RoleThe Roaming Teller performs activities such as processing transactions, handling cash and cross selling and referring Credit Union products and services. Provides prompt, professional and courteous service.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Processes an array of basic member and guest member account transactions including routine checking and savings deposits and withdrawals; receiving payments; and selling a variety of negotiable instruments.
- Provides immediate service by welcoming members and guests as soon as they enter a branch in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner or by telephone; directs members to appropriate department/person for specific information and service.
- Actively listens to member's needs cross selling and educates the member regarding Credit Union products and services to meet those needs. Introduces/refers the member to the appropriate person to assist in fulfilling the product and services needs.
- Balances cash drawer and daily transactions with minimal errors.
- Maintains knowledge of all credit union products, services, and promotions.
- Contributes to efficient Credit Union operations by performing other job related duties as assigned.
- Experience:
Six months to twelve months of similar or related experience. - Education:
A high school education or GED.
