Put your knowledge of anatomy, mobility, and movement to work in a wellness-focused environment.

Stretch Lab is seeking licensed Physical Therapist Assistants and other qualified physical therapy professionals interested in applying their education and hands-on skills to the growing field of assisted stretching.

As a Stretch Lab Flexologist™, you’ll work one-on-one with clients who want to improve mobility, flexibility, range of motion, and overall movement quality. This is a wellness position rather than a clinical physical therapy position
—Flexologists do not diagnose injuries or provide physical therapy treatment.

Your PTA education provides an excellent foundation for Stretch Lab’s specialized training in assisted stretching.

Stretch Lab is the industry leader in evidence-based one-on-one assisted stretching. Every Flexologist completes our Flexologist Training Program™—the only nationally accredited certificate program in assisted stretching.

Our sessions primarily utilize PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) techniques, making your existing understanding of anatomy, range of motion, body mechanics, and client positioning particularly valuable.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide safe, one-on-one assisted stretching sessions within Stretch Lab’s scope and protocols.
  • Apply your knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, body mechanics, and range of motion to client sessions.
  • Help clients improve mobility and flexibility.
  • Educate and encourage clients throughout their sessions.
  • Build relationships with clients and encourage consistency in their stretching programs.
  • Maintain thorough and timely client session notes.
  • Schedule recurring appointments and help manage continuity of client care.
  • Follow all Stretch Lab safety standards and professional boundaries.
  • Participate in ongoing training, staff meetings, first visits, and occasional community events.
What We’re Looking For
  • Physical Therapist Assistant degree and applicable licensure/credentialing.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, movement, range of motion, and body mechanics.
  • Comfortable providing hands-on, one-on-one services.
  • Excellent communication skills and an empathetic, client-centered approach.
  • Interest in preventative wellness, mobility, flexibility, and healthy movement.
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to providing an exceptional client experience.
  • Ability to successfully complete Stretch Lab’s Flexologist Training Program™, including online education, a two-day workshop, and practical training.

For PTAs who enjoy the hands-on, relationship-building aspects of patient care, Stretch Lab offers an opportunity to use those skills in a positive, wellness-focused setting.
