Associate Attorney:
Civil Litigation Defense

A well-respected civil litigation trial firm based in Boise is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with 2+ years of defense experience.

The firm is recognized for its sophisticated defense of healthcare systems, medical professionals, and corporate entities throughout Idaho and parts of eastern Oregon. This role is ideal for a disciplined litigator looking for a stable environment with high-caliber work and a focus on professional development.

Practice Scope

Attorneys manage a diverse and active caseload involving complex legal issues, including:

• Professional Liability:
  Defending healthcare providers and various professional sectors.
• Commercial Litigation:
  Navigating business disputes and specialized liability cases.
• Specialized Defense:
  Handling employment counseling, product liability, data breaches, and trucking/transportation litigation.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2 years in civil litigation defense.
• Skills:
  
  Advanced research and writing capabilities are essential. Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and maintain professional standards under a busy schedule.
• Attributes: A collaborative, team-oriented approach to practice.
• Licensure:
  Licensed to practice in Idaho (or eligible for immediate reciprocity).

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary:
  Competitive pay commensurate with experience. $105,000 to $120,000, with specialized defense roles often exceeding this range.
