• Operate, monitor, and adjust packaging equipment in accordance with safety, food safety, quality, and production standards.
• Monitor line sanitation, ink-jet coder, bagger operation, Dyna-pack operation, settlers, and case sealers.
• Perform routine metal detector checks to ensure proper function of metal detectors.
• Monitor line flow rates, including regular checks for proper feed of product through baggers.
• Monitor and adjust vibrators to attain optimum bagger performance.
• Order packaging material and ensure proper container sizing.
• Record packaging machinery efficiencies and downtime; complete reports accurately.
• Ensure complete packaging quality of product by performing regular checks of weights, seals, glue patterns, etc.
• Complete CIL’s and centerlines.
• Participate in AMD Drumbeats.
• Rework product when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification required; training provided if not currently certified.

• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Experience driving forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Ability to meet certification and qualification requirements within established time frames.
• Basic mathematics and computer operation, data entry skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
• Work in a noisy environment with heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, and odors.
• Perform repetitive arm, wrist, and hand movements; work overhead and in or under equipment.
• Maintain manual dexterity, coordination, and balance at ground level and in high places.
• Operate work‑related equipment and meet vision requirements such as close and distance vision.
• Temperatures range from –20°F to 90°F depending on freezer or plant operation.
