Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a multi-talented Venue Management Specialist to join our Venue Booking & Management Team. You thrive on researching, communicating via telephone and email, coordinating details, collaborating cross-functionally, and managing multiple priorities in a people-centric, fast-paced environment. Well-organized, detail-oriented, tenacious, and self-starting individuals who can manage multiple high-priority projects will thrive in this role.

Position Overview

This role requires a professional with strong event production knowledge, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and creativity. The Venue Management Specialist handles venue research, venue booking, contract review, and show advancement. It involves detailed communication between venues, vendors, and production staff. The position ensures venues are properly advanced and coordinated, documentation is accurate, and processes are streamlined to deliver outstanding experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Venue research, booking, preliminary contract review, and venue advancement and communication, as well as team coordination, billing review, and overall venue management.
  • Handle venue event details, COI submission, and coordinate with Production Department on outside vendors.
  • Manage Core Process documentation and system implementation for venue operations.
  • Keep venue management software system up-to-date and accurate.
  • Review final venue invoices to ensure billing accuracy.
Key Qualifications & Competencies
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in theater, entertainment production, or event planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, Performing Arts, Production, Hospitality, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and communicate confidently with multiple venues at once.
